Why October and not January

Around here the leaves come down and the rain arrives more or less together. Gutters that looked fine in August are packed by November.

Clogged gutters do not just overflow. Water backs up under the roof edge, runs down behind the siding, and pools against the foundation. Every one of those is cheap to prevent in the fall and expensive to repair in the spring.

Our aluminum gutters are formed in continuous runs rather than pieced together from sections. No joints to snag debris, and no seams to eventually leak. They are finished in a durable architectural polyester that resists scratching, fading, salt and pollution.

    Gutters and downspouts emptied of leaves, needles and grit.

  2. Flush and check

    We run water through to confirm they actually drain rather than just look clear, and check for sagging runs, loose fasteners and leaking joints.

  3. Clean up and report

    The debris leaves with us, and you hear what we found without a sales pitch attached.

Questions people ask

How often do gutters need cleaning?
With Douglas fir or big-leaf maple nearby, twice a year. Once every fall is the realistic minimum for most valley homes.
Repair or replace?
If the runs are sound and it is a joint or a fastener, we repair. If they are pieced-together sections that have been patched before, continuous replacement usually costs less over five years.
What does a cleaning cost?
It depends on the size of the house, the number of stories and how much is up there. Call and we will give you a number.
Do you install gutter guards?
Yes. If your gutters pack solid every autumn, guards usually pay for themselves. We will look at your roofline and what is growing over it and tell you honestly whether they are worth it on your house.
